Looking for high-security protection? The Yale BS2 Maximum Security Nightlatch combines security and quality to ensure your home is protected. This nightlatch is backed by the police initiative 'Secured by Design' and features auto deadlocking, accredited to British Standard BS8621.
This lock fulfils the requirements of most home insurance policies that require a high-security locking solution on your homes entrance and exit doors.
As well as conforming to BS 3621:2007, BS EN 12209:2003 and BS EN 1303:2005 the highest level of certification currently available, the BS2 nightlatch also come as standard with a TS007 1* 6 pin rim cylinder (which is anti-drill, anti-pick and anti-bump)
An extended and hardened 20mm latch ensure the lock is highly resistant against sawing and the deadlocking function makes card slipping attacks completely ineffective.
The luxury of a built-in snib to hold back the latch means you can pop in and out collecting the shopping without the door closing behind you. The snib can also manually deadlock the latch whilst still retaining the possibility of free escape.
These nightlatches are supplied with two keys as standard.
