The Yale P-M560 5 level mortice sashlocks are kitemarked to BS3621 & CE Marked. This gives them a maximum security security rating for added peace of mind. This means they are thief-resistant locks and so are perfectly designed to be fitted to the front or back door. These locks are British Standard approved meaning they are tested against burglary techniques such as drilling and picking. These also comply with your insurance policy.
The sashlock is deadbolt and unlocked by a key from either side therefore requires two handles. This deadbolt is anti-saw for added protection. Some of the benefits of 5 lever sashlocks include the number of configurations possible due to the number of levers, thus meaning that the less complex configurations are discarded and not used, ensuring that ever lock is sufficiently diverse.
Designed to accept bolt-through furniture which means it allows for a secure, firm fit for the door handles onto the door and the handles do not require screws to hold it to the wooden door.

5 Levers
5 levers means the lock granted a high security status. The five levers are moved into position when a key is inserted and then turned into the lock. The sash lock will require two door handles.
