Yale makes shortlist for DIY Week Awards 2018
Yale has been shortlisted at this year’s DIY Week Awards for the title of ‘Security Product of the Year’. The Awards will take place at the Park Plaza Victoria on Friday 11th May 2018.
The Conexis® L1 Smart Door Lock has been put forward for the accolade, being selected from a variety of products by a panel of expert judges, including a senior trader from Robert Dyas, the DIY product buyer from Wilko, and associate buyer for QVC UK.
Yale’s most recent Smart Door Lock has plenty of features that will have caught the eye of these industry experts. The Conexis® L1 puts users fully in control of their door, allowing homeowners to configure, control and unlock their door all from a smartphone via the Bluetooth low energy App. The lock also allows you to create and send mobile keys to family and friends, keeping track of who comes and goes simply using a smartphone. This gives users the ultimate peace of mind knowing their home is securely protected.
What’s more, the Conexis® L1 is now also available in three stylish finishes to suit a variety of doors, offering homeowners the height of style and security for their home.
Stephen Roberts, Marketing Manager for Yale, said: “We’re thrilled to have been shortlisted once again at this year’s DIY Week Awards. We have seen continued success with award wins for the Conexis® L1, including the National Technology Award for ‘Consumer Product of the Year’ in 2017, and we hope to see further success throughout 2018.”
The DIY Week Awards, now in its eighth year, is a key networking event for the DIY, home improvement and garden market, and celebrates the very best of the industry, rewarding forward-thinking companies, innovative products and inspirational people with these sectors.
