It is compatible with all concealed espagnolette and shoot bolt locking systems using a 7mm diameter spindle and is supplied with a 40mm spindle that can be easily cut to size for a precise fit. Compared to a lock with a lower number of levers, a five-lever sash lock offers enhanced security for external doors. The extra levers make the lock more difficult to pick and provide a greater number of possible key combinations.
How a five-lever lock works
