How do I get started?
The great news is your doors and/or windows are already compatible. SensCheck™ Door and Window Sensors are easy to install and fit neatly inside Yale smart doors and windows.
To connect them to your home, you’ll need a Yale Sync Hub. The Hub works with the Yale Alarm App and includes a 94dB siren that can sound if a sensor detects unexpected activity.
Build your own Home Security System
Your Yale Sync Hub can be expanded into a full Yale Sync Smart Alarm system by adding up to 40 sensors and additional smart security accessories - so you can tailor it to suit your home.
You can monitor the status of your SensCheck™ Door and Window Sensors and the overall status of your home security directly via the Yale Alarm App when using your smartphone.

SensCheck™ is only compatible with Yale smart doors and windows. Please speak to your installer to check your compatibility.What SensCheck™ sensors do I need if I already have a Yale Sync Smart Home Alarm?
If you already have a Yale Sync Smart Home Alarm, then you will already have a Yale Sync Hub. Only one Yale Sync Hub is required, so please refer to the ‘Already got a Yale Sync Hub’ section to find the sensors right for you. Please note, your Yale Sync Hub can control up to 40 Sync accessories.

Yes. You can check-in on the status of your door and window sensors when using the ‘Yale Alarm’ App. Providing your smartphone has internet connection and the Yale Sync Hub is connected to Wi-Fi, they will then be able to talk to one another, notifying you on the status of your home and alerting you to any unexpected changes.How long do the batteries last in the SensCheck™ Door and Window Sensors?
The batteries should last for approximately 18 to 24 months – dependent on usage. SensCheck Door and Window Sensors use CR2032 batteries.How does the geo-fencing feature work?
The handy geo-location feature reminds you to arm your Yale Sync Hub and sensors when you leave home, giving you one less thing to worry about. Through the ‘Yale Alarm’ App, you are able to check-in on the status of your sensors, should you have accidentally left a door or window open.Does SensCheck™ work with leading voice assistants?
