The Yale YC1 Steel Security Cable 2.2m is constructed from flexible braided steel and is designed to secure bikes, ladders and tools. The cable is protected by a durable vinyl coating to prevent damage. This loop cable is designed for use with a padlock, D Lock or U Lock (not supplied).
Compared to a lock with a lower number of levers, a five-lever sash lock offers enhanced security for external doors. The extra levers make the lock more difficult to pick and provide a greater number of possible key combinations.
This sash lock requires two door handles and is designed to work with bolt-through door handles, meaning your handles are firmly attached without needing extra screws. Available in a variety of finishes and colours to match your home’s style.
