• How to download the Yale Home App

  Download the Yale Home App from the App Store or Google Play.

  Once you have downloaded the Yale Home app you will need to click on 'Create an account' or 'Sign in' if you already have an account.

• How do I set up a device in the Yale Home app?

  You can set up your Yale device using the Yale Home app on your smartphone. Just follow the steps below.

  What do I need before I start?

  • A smartphone with an internet connection
  • The Yale Home app installed
  • Your Yale device nearby
  • Access to the QR code on your device

  Step 1: Download the Yale Home app

  The Yale Home app is available for both iOS and Android.

  • Download it from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).

  Step 2: Sign in or create an account

  • Open the Yale Home app.
  • Sign in with your existing Yale Home account, or create a new one if you don’t already have one.

  Step 3: Add your device

  • If this is your first device, tap Set Up a New Device.
  • If you already have a device, tap the + icon in the top‑right corner of the app.
  • Use your phone’s camera to scan the QR code on your Yale device.
  • Follow the on‑screen instructions to complete the setup.
