FP2 Euro Profile Cylinders

Introducing 2 new patented cylinder platforms, upgrading the hugely popular FP1 6 Pin Security and KM Series 1 Star Euro Cylinders

The KM Series 1 Star Euro Cylinder is endorsed by the Police's Secure by Design scheme and provides an easy way to change the keys on a property by simply replacing the Euro profile cylinder.

Whats New?

  • Featuring a new patented front profile and key, this ensures that only genuine Yale keys can be cut for the cylinder – guaranteeing that each additional key cut is of our standard of quality and will operate the cylinder every time.
  • The addition of a sacrificial break-line further improves the security of our 1 star cylinders and helps prevents any success from a snap attack
  • Introducing our new Thumburn design… Designed to blend with each décor style, it improves ergonomics and, with it’s new PVD finish for Brass, it blends effortlessly with Yale front door furniture finishes whilst ensuring maximum durability
  • Complementing the new look is the new Yale Key Bow design on both our steel and brass ley blanks
  • Welcoming the arrival of Matt black within our KM 1 star range.   Designed to complement and cater for the rise in Matt Black hardware in the UK
  • Always working towards reducing our carbon footprint, the revision of our box sizes and removal of all plastic packaging from the range has helped to see us further towards our sustainability goals.
  • Retaining all the benefits of the original platforms such as the anti-pick, anti-bump and fire rated features, this is the new generation for the standard 6 pin and KM 1 star cylinder platforms

Whats is a Euro Profile Cylinder?

Euro profile cylinder locks are a convenient way to be able to change your keys without having to replace the entire lock and they can be fitted in minutes without the need for any special tools or equipment. It is the quickest and easiest way to upgrade the security rating of your property and a convenient way to change the locks if you have moved into a new house, lost your keys, or suspect someone else has access to a copy of your key.

What Cylinder Should I Choose?

How to measure your cylinder

It's important you choose the right size cylinder for your door, so it fits properly.

  • Open your door and measure from the centre M5 screw on the side of the door, to the edge of your existing cylinder on the inside of your door. This is the 'B' measurement. For example, this might be 40mm.
  • Then, measure from the centre M5 screw to the edge of your existing cylinder on the outside of your door. This is the 'A' measurement.  For example, this might be 50mm
  • Put these two measurements together to get the right size - your B measurement goes first e.g. 40/50.
  • You can now choose your selected colour finish - Brass or Nickel.
