Getting Started
How to install your new Wireless Alarm Kit
1. Remove the products from the packaging and pull out the plastic tabs to enable the battery. On the main alarm, please follow the user manual to change the pin code from the default code.
2. Remove the plastic tab from the door contact provided and change the pin code from the default following the instructions in the user manual.
3. Pair the door contact to the main alarm using the learn button which will link the door contact to the alarm, using the user manual for reference.
4. Remove the plastic tab from the key fob and pair with the main alarm using the learn button, using the user manual for reference. The alarm is now ready to use with either a PIN code or key fob.
Everyday Use
What is the viewing angle of the PIR?
The Mini Wireless Alarm is designed to be used indoors with a 110-degree horizontal viewing angle and 60-degree vertical viewing angle.
How many metres from the alarm will my key fob work?
The alarm can be disarmed using the built in keypad or from 70 meters away using the key fob.
Where can I mount my alarm?
The main alarm can be wall mounted with the provided wall mounting bracket or placed free standing and can be used with and without any accessories if required.
Where can I mount my door contact?
The door contact can be used on interior and exterior doors providing an extra level of security and is easily paired with the main alarm.
Is the Mini Wireless Alarm battery powered?
The alarm and its components are battery powered with a battery life of 18 months dependant on usage. The low battery indicator (a red light) shows when the battery is below 25% and needs changing.
Troubleshooting
I can't remember my PIN
The Mini Wireless Alarm is designed to be used indoors with a 110-degree horizontal viewing angle and 60-degree vertical viewing angle.
I can’t pair my fob / door contact.
Remove the batteries from the main alarm and the device you are trying to pair, insert the batteries into the main alarm and the restart the pairing procedure stated in the manual.
My door contact does not trigger my alarm.
Ensure that the door contact and magnet (supplied) are within 8mm distance of each other.
Ensure that the batteries have power.
My Key Pad will not disarm the system, however it does arm correctly
Please check that your PIN is not 0000, if it is please follow the steps to change your PIN.
My key fob does not arm / disarm my alarm.
