    I cannot lock my safe

    Please remember that if you have opened the safe with the key, you also have to lock it with the key, from then on using the code as usual. If the safe has been opened by the electronic (code) method, that to lock the safe door, you need to press the ‘Tick’ and ‘key’ to electronically secure the safe.
     

    I have forgotten my PIN code

    If you forget your code, you can open the safe with the manual override button and reset the code by pressing the "Tick" button and "3" at the same time. Follow the instructions for setting your code to reset your user code.
     

    What happens if I lock my keys in the safe or lose my keys?

    What happens if the batteries have run out and I cannot find my key?

    There is a 9v battery terminal on the keypad, place the 9v battery onto the terminals then Enter the pin code or mastercode, you can then open the safe and change the batteries inside the safe.

    The safe is not accepting my new code, what can I do?

    Please make sure you are completing the set code procedure until it displays ‘good’, remembering that if you have opened the safe with the key you also have to lock it with the key, from then on using the code as usual.

  • I can’t set my code; I simply get the ‘ERROR’ message on the screen. Why is this?

    To set the code successfully, press the ‘Tick’ key and ‘3’ simultaneously. It is easiest to first press and hold down the ‘Tick’ button then press ‘3’ with your other hand. The ’SET CODE’ message will appear on the LCD screen, and you can go ahead and set the code in the normal manner.
  • How do I set the PIN code?

    Open the safe with the key, then press ‘Tick’ whilst keeping this pressed, press ‘3’.  Enter your code, then repeat the process again.  A ‘GOOD’ message will appear on screen.
