  • Login to your Yale View account.
  • Go to preview page then click “View record history”,
  • Select the recorded video you want to view in calendar page.

How I do activate Motion detection on my camera?

Go to the camera settings, select “Alarm” then enable “Motion Detection”.

    My device has been bound by an alternative email address

    For customer privacy, one device can be added only by one account. If the device was added by another account, you cannot add it again.

    The camera does not recognise the SD card

    Solution

    • Insert the SD card into the SD card slot, format the SD card with the Yale View app
    • Try the SD card on PC/smartphone/other devices, check whether the SD card is damaged. If it is a bad SD card, please try another one

    The automatic spotlight activation is not working for my Front Door Wi-Fi Camera?

    You need to check if you have the latest Firmware.

    Please go to the camera settings, select Cloud Upgrade and upgrade your camera 

    See the camera under device list, but live view it’s not streaming

    • Please check the LED indicator status of your camera to see if your camera is connected to Internet.
    • Please check the Internet access of your smartphone, if the signal is too weak there may be problems with streaming.

    How do I add the camera to a new Yale account?

    For security reasons, each camera can be linked to only one account. If you want to add the camera to a new Yale View account please delete it from the existing account first. Go to device settings and select “delete camera”.

    How many wired cameras can I have on my system in total?

    This depends on what CCTV system you have.

    • 2 Camera Kits– maximum 4 cameras
    • 4 Camera Kits– maximum 8 cameras

    Does Yale produce cameras with audio?

    No, although the DVR supports audio input to allow adding microphones.

    How do I update device firmware?

    • Go to the camera settings, select “Alarm” then enable “Motion Detection”
    • Click the gear icon on the top right corner.
    • Go to the Device Info page, click the Cloud Upgrade option to check if there is new firmware. If there is, you can update this.
