How to reset your device password for Smart Motion Detection CCTV KIT

During set-up, the user can choose a password, a pattern, and a security question.  We strongly suggest doing all 3.  They are also asked for their email, it is not mandatory, but we strongly recommend this.

• If a pattern is set, that can be set to be the default log-on method. 
• If the user does not know / can’t remember the pattern, they can click ‘Forgot Pattern’

• Users will then be taken to a password log-on page, where they can enter a password. 
• If this is unknown, they can click on the right of the password for ‘Forgot Password’

• A pop-up will appear for GDPR purposes stating which information will be required to regain the password.  Click OK.

• The user can then select whether they want to reset via email or using the security questions set – *all 3 questions must be answered.
• A pop-up will appear for GDPR purposes stating which information will be required to regain the password.  Click OK.
• Follow the instructions on screen to retrieve a security code to reset the password.
