We cannot guarantee that it will be compatible with other brands cylinders. If the thumbturn is removable via a grub screw, it may fit.

If you need to use the Thumbturn Adapter, please use the fitting instructions below. We suggest removing your cylinder from your door, in order to make this as easy as possible. You can watch how to do this here.

Locate the grub screw on the cylinder for the thumbturn adapter (TTA).

NOTE: this could be oriented at the side, underneath or top of the thumbturn.

Using the allen key supplied with your Linus® Smart Lock L2, remove your existing thumbturn from your cylinder and set aside - you do not need this.

The Thumbturn adapter is in 2 pieces.

These pieces clamp around the end of the cylinder where the original thumbturn was removed from.

The larger piece has a notch inside which aligns with the hole that the grub screw was fixed into. Place this onto your cylinder.

Once aligned, take the smaller piece and position on the cylinder, so it forms a clamp.

Take the screw supplied with the allen key in the Linus® Smart Lock L2 and insert into the hole in the smaller piece of the TTA.

Using a cross head screwdriver, tighten the screw to secure the thumbturn adapter to the cylinder.
