FAQ's

• How do I add and remove tags on my system?

  1. Press the button with the 3 lines, enter your code and press the tick key.
  2. Scroll down to contactless and press the tick key.
  3. Press the tick key on add tag, and present the tag to the panel just underneath ‘Yale’.

• How do I navigate through the control panel?

  • Please make sure the flashing circle on the left of the screen is next to the option you require before pressing tick.
  • The up and down arrows on the right of the screen are to navigate you through the menu options.

• How do I reset the date / time on the HSA 6410 control panel?

  1. Press menu button and enter pincode and press tick.
  2. Scroll down to advanced settings.
  3. Then scroll right to the bottom of that menu to time and press tick.
  4. Then it’s a 24-hour clock, use the up and down arrows to change the time, then press tick when you’ve entered the hour and it will take you onto the minutes use the up and down arrows again and press tick again.
  5. Then move down to date.
  6. Follow the same procedure using the up and down arrows.

• There are no lights on my Door Contact / Keypad after I have changed the batteries

  Go into your programme menu (blue menu button, then enter your pin code followed by the tick key), to prevent an alarm activation. Then continue to change the batteries.

• How do I add and remove tags on my system?

  1. Press the menu button and enter your pincode. Press tick.
  2. Scroll down to contactless, press tick.
  3. Prepare tag to present.
  4. Select Connect to an existing bridge.
  5. Place the tag onto the panel.
  6. Press tick.

• How do I learn devices into my control unit?

  • Press PR or the button with the three lines, enter your PIN then press tick
  • Scroll down to add devices and tick
  • The screen will show press button on the device to add
  • Press the learn button the device you wish to add
  • The control unit will beep and say detected ok press tick
  • For PIRs / Door contact choose the setting (Burglar / Entry / Home omit) Press tick
  • For key fobs press the locked padlock button then press tick
  • Keep ticking through until it says installed ok

• How do I learn devices into my control unit?

  Dial out test:

  1. To test the dial-out feature ensure the control unit is plugged into the landline (This must be a paid for landline connection).
  2. Press PR button or the button with the 3 lines, enter your PIN, press tick.
  3. Scroll down to tel settings and press tick.
  4. Scroll down to test report press tick.
  5. Tick on the number you want a test call to go to (one of up to 3 you have added).
  6. You can cancel this by pressing the backspace button.

  Dial in test:

  • • Call the landline number
    • Hang up on the first ring
    • Wait 5/10 seconds
    • Call back
    • The control unit will answer
    • Enter your PIN within 3 seconds
    • You will hear a long beep
    • Now you can do the following functions
      1. Press 2 to arm
      2. Press 3 to disarm
      3. Press 5 to check if armed /Part armed or disarmed (Long single beep for armed, 3 beeps for part armed, 2 beeps for disarmed)
      4. Press 7 turn the siren on
      5. Press 8 turn the siren off
      6. Press 9 to disconnect the call
