Appendix 1 – Promotion Terms
1. The Promotion is offered and conducted by Assa Abloy Limited T/A Yale (the “Promoter”), and administered by Opia Limited with registered office at Suite 3, Second Floor, Friary Court, 13-21 High Street, Guildford, Surrey GU1 3DG (the “Administrator”).
2. To qualify under this Promotion, purchases of Promotion Products must be made within the period commencing at (00:01 – BST) on the 1 st September 2025 and concluding at (23:59 – GMT) on 28th February 2026 (“Promotion Period”). This Promotion does not apply for any purchases outside the Promotion Period.
3. To be eligible to participate in the Promotion you must be an individual and lawful resident of the United Kingdom over the age of 18 with a valid GBP bank account in your name (“Participant”) or a UK registered business with a valid GBP bank account in the business name.
4. This Promotion is not open to employees of the Promoter, or any of their affiliates or anyone connected with the Promotion and their immediate family members.
5. Participants who purchase an eligible new (i.e. not second hand, display model or refurbished) Yale product as listed in Table 1 below (“Promotion Product”) from https://yalehome.co.uk only (the “Participating Retailer”) within the Promotion Period will be eligible to claim a variable cashback reward of up to £150.00 as listed in Table 1 below, paid by bank transfer (‘Reward’), upon trading in any doorbell, door lock or home/office alarm system (which must be in working order) (“Retired Unit”) and subject to full compliance with these Promotion Terms and Conditions (“Promotion Terms”).

7. Participants may submit a maximum of five (5) Claims per household or per business, with each Claim corresponding to one (1) purchased Promotion Product and eligible for one (1) Reward in the Promotion. Participants may submit a maximum in total of the following types of Claims: two (2) Claims for Video Doorbells, three (3) Claims for Smart Locks and one (1) Claim for an Alarm Kit. These limits are irrespective of the quantity of Retired Units shipped. For the avoidance of doubt, each Claim must correspond to one (1) purchased Promotion Product and corresponding Retired Unit shipped.
8. In order to participate in the Promotion, following purchase of a Promotion Product, Participants must visit https://yalepromos.com/yaletradein2025, and complete the presented Claim form by submitting a copy of their proof of purchase of a Promotion Product (as a full VAT receipt showing date and time of purchase and Participating Retailer details) alongside any other requested information (the “Claim”), within the Claim Window shown at Condition 9 below. Once a Claim has been approved for their old doorbell, door lock or home/office alarm (“Retired Unit”) to be traded in (usually within 5 working days) (“Provisional Claim Approval”), Participants must ship their Retired Unit within 30 days of receipt of the Provisional Claim Approval email. Once the Retired Unit has been received it will be checked that it is a doorbell, door lock or home/office alarm system, and the package in which it is shipped should be within the maximum size restriction of 50cm x 60cm and have an approximate weight of under 2 kg. Participants shall at all times be responsible for packing their Retired Unit securely within the returns bag and affixing the prepaid shipping label provided.
9. Claims must be submitted between 1 to 30 calendar days (including Public Holidays) from the date of purchase indicated on the receipt or invoice (proof of purchase). The date of purchase indicated on the proof of purchase is day one (1). The final Claim date (for a Promotion Product purchased on 28th February 2026) is no later than 11:59pm (GMT) on 30th March, 2026 (“Claim Window”). Claims submitted outside the Claim Window shall be rejected and considered ineligible for Reward.
10. Once a Claim has been submitted, Participants will receive an automated email confirmation from yaletradein2025@yalepromos.com. Participants may also, instead of a ‘Provisional Claim Approval’ email described above, receive a request for further information if anything is missing or incomplete in the Claim form submitted (as described in Condition 12 below). It is the Participant’s responsibility to contact the customer service team using the email address yaletradein2025@yalepromos.com within seven (7) days of their Claim being submitted if no email acknowledgement has been received, and if neither a ‘Provisional Claim Approval’ or request for additional information have been received to check their spam folders.
11. Provided the Promotion Terms have been met, including the receipt of the Retired Unit, the Claim will be validated by the Administrator (“Claim Validation”), and the Reward paid via bank transfer to the account nominated in the Claim form (which must match the Participants details exactly) within 30 calendar days of Claim Validation by the Administrator of this Promotion.
12. Where an incomplete Claim form or an illegible or unacceptable proof of purchase is received, a notification email will be sent to the Participant with the opportunity to provide the required information within seven (7) days. If the requested information is not submitted within seven (7) calendar days of the email being sent then the Claim will be rejected and a Reward will not be awarded. For any rejected Claim the Participant may submit a new Claim as long as they are still within the applicable Claim Window (as described in Condition 9 above), but otherwise they will no longer be eligible for a Reward.
13. In the event of a Promotion Product being returned or replaced for any reason during the Claim Window and the Reward having not been issued, the original Claim will be voided and the Participant will need to re-submit their Claim accordingly against their replacement order.
14. The decisions of the Promoter in respect of any and all aspects of the Promotion will be final and binding. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or cancel the terms of this offer without notice and with future effect at any time.
15. The Promoter and Administrator shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require further verification as to proof of purchase, as well as the identity, age, and other relevant details of a Participant.
16. The Promoter and Administrator will not be responsible or liable for: (a) any failure to receive submissions due to transmission failures and other conditions beyond its reasonable control such as medical emergencies; (b) any late, lost, misrouted, or damaged transmissions or claims; (c) any computer or communications related malfunctions or failures; (d) any disruptions, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of the Promoter; or (e) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Promotion.
17. Participants will be solely responsible for any and all applicable taxes and any other relevant costs or expenses which are not stated in the Promotion Terms as being reimbursed. YAL00001 9
18. By entering this Promotion, Participants give their consent to the use of their personal information to administer the Promotion, to disclosing their personal information to organisations that assist with administering the Promotion including use by and disclosure to third parties for fraud prevention purposes. 19. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will the Promotor or Administrator be liable for any losses or direct or indirect damages, loss of business profits, lost savings or other special, incidental, exemplary or consequential damages whether for breach of warranty, contract, strict liability, tort or otherwise arising out of or in connection with this Promotion.
20. This Promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
