Keyless smart lock wins award
Beating off stiff competition the Yale Keyless Smart Lock has triumphed in the Best Smart Home Product Category at the 2020 Real Homes Awards.
The smart door lock that puts you fully in control, giving you the freedom to secure your home without the need for a key, was named as the winner in the ‘Best Smart Home Product’ category.
Real Homes offers its readers home improvement inspiration, advice and news, the awards were designed to find and name the very best home products. The shortlist of entries chosen by a panel of judges were then put to a public vote, where the readers of Real Homes chose their favourite products.
The Yale Keyless Lock allows users to unlock their door with one simple tap of their key tag, key card, phone tag or key code. For homeowners who may need to let someone in their home on a temporary basis, 24 hour PIN codes can be provided, ensuring the homeowner is in full control of who enters their home.
As part of the Yale eco-system, it can be operated via the Yale Home App, and automatically disarm a Yale Smart alarm when a door is unlocked. It also integrates with external smart home systems such as Amazon Alexa and Google assistant, so you can check if your door is locked using just using your voice.
