FAQ
In which case does my lock cylinder need to be replaced?

If you need a replacement cylinder, we have a fully adjustable cylinder specifically for your Linus Smart Lock. The Yale Linus Adjustable Cylinder is available to purchase here.
How do I change the lock sound?
It is not possible to change the sounds on a smart lock.
If you prefer that the smart lock not make any sounds, you can turn off the sound in the Yale Home app.
- Open the Yale Home app Go to lock settings. If you have multiple locks, please choose the correct one.
- Turn off the lock tones using the slide switch. You must be within Bluetooth range of the lock to change this setting
What can I do if the Yale Home app says the lock is unlocked when it is actually locked?
If the Yale Home app shows that your lock is locked when it is actually unlocked (and vice versa), it is likely that it needs to be recalibrated.
Please start the recalibration from the Settings tab in your Yale Home app. You must be within Bluetooth range of the lock to recalibrate it.
PLEASE NOTE: Improper lock condition can also occur if the lock is placed on a flat surface.
What do I do if my guest doesn't receive the invitation I sent?
If you sent an invitation to your castle and your guest doesn't receive it, there may be a problem with the contact information you sent it to.
Check that the number you sent the invitation to is the correct one. If the invitation was sent to an incorrect number, delete it in the Yale Home app and resend it to ensure the phone number is correct.
If that doesn't work, make sure the contact's number is saved in international format in your phone (with the country code before the number) and then try sending the invitation again.
My guest received the SMS invitation, but my key doesn't appear in their keychain.
If your guest received a text message invitation from you, but doesn't see your key in their keychain after setting up their account, there may be a mismatch between the number you sent the invitation to and the number they used Guest has set up their account.
In this case, make sure the numbers match by comparing the number you sent the invitation to with the number of the new account. If the numbers don't match, delete the invitation and resend it to the number in their account.
The guest should find the key in the keychain after completing this step.
How many smart locks and devices can I add to my account?
Technically, there is no limit to the number of smart locks in a Yale Home Account.
If you have multiple smart locks, you can create keys for all of them in your Yale Home app. Each smart lock you add expands the list of keys in your keychain and you have to scroll to access them. There is also no limit to the number of devices you can add to a smart lock.
